The Silent Army

James A Moore brings the Seven Forges series to a satisfying conclusion with The Silent Army.  As with its predecessors, book four is rich with action and lively battle scenes.

One of the stand-out features of Moore’s writing is his clever and intelligent concepts which he boils down to one-liners.  When I read, “Not all prayers are answered in the method we prefer,” I knew I was being treated to a writing style that very few can pull off.

Moore has made a fan out of me.  I am already eager to buy The Last Sacrifice, the first book in his new series, The Tides of War, due this month.

Moore’s writing is a bloodbath sprinkled with intelligent concepts – an unlikely blend that works amazingly well.

The Silent Army delivers an avalanche of action and a bleak world full of strong characters.  This is a worthy conclusion to the Seven Forges series.
