Among the Fallen

Among the Fallen is the second book in the Godserfs series.  It picks up immediately where Silent Hall ended.  This time, the band of friends splits up in order to deal with  their own issues.  It turns out their personal goals are more closely related than they could have guessed.

Dolkart’s storytelling never runs out of energy.  His plot developments resolve themselves quickly and are never predictable.  There’s always something new going on in this world and it keeps the story fresh.  The Godserfs series could go on for ten books and still be interesting.

As with the first book, you can never predict what will be relevant to the plot.  An intervening god may have a minor effect, while lack of sleep could have a profound effect.  Also, there are many completely unforeseen events that can turn the plot in a new direction.  All of this keeps the story entertaining from start to finish.

Awesome story!  I look forward to the next Godserfs book.

Among the Fallen pits gods against mortals in this story of friendship and sacrifice.

The wild unpredictability of Among the Fallen bring the story to life.
